We are Ayla and Mia Nicholson, two sisters with a passion for equestrian sports and big dreams! Ayla, 15 years old, has been riding since she was 5 and is determined to become an FEI certified coach, compete in the Grand Prix, the World Cup, the Pan American Games, and ultimately the Olympics. Mia is 13 and has been riding since she was 3. She shares the same ambitions as Ayla, aspiring to become a certified coach and excel on the international stage. Together, they are excited to share their stories of how they fled their home country of Canada to pursue their passion for riding without the stresses or pressures that came with government protocols regarding vaccinations and lockdowns we hope to reach the hearts of many and seek your support in doing so!

Who We Are
Ayla’s Journey
Ayla has been training with her horse, Victorious W., for the past three years. Their bond is incredible, and they train six days a week, competing in FEI competitions whenever possible. Living in the Dominican Republic allows Ayla to train year-round with world-class coaches, Alex and Diane Wazieres from France. However, the financial demands of this sport are significant. To continue progressing and competing at the highest levels, Ayla needs support for training equipment, transportation, and entry fees.
Mia’s Journey
She’s been riding for 10 years, and competing with her horse, Mademoiselle, at international levels has been an exhilarating experience. Following in Ayla’s footsteps, she’s developed her skills and confidence, and is eager to showcase her abilities in the arena. Like Ayla, she faces challenges in securing the resources necessary for her training. Proper equipment, reliable transportation to competitions, and the ability to cover entry fees are essential for her success and development as a rider.
